I'm running as a Democrat because that's the ballot line; it's a tool, but the fight is - "working people vs. entrenched interests," and that fight doesn't care what your voter registration says.

I'm not going to pretend to be a moderate to win your vote, but I'm also not interested in party loyalty for its own sake.

You've been told to "pick a side." It doesn't seem to matter which side; nothing ever changes. 

A lot of people in this district, and across the country, feel:
Frustrated. Checked out. Over it.

Yet there's also a whole group of people who feel exactly like you do and want change! That's how this is different. There is a lot on the line right now; most of us don't feel like our country is heading in the right direction, and corporate power is squeezing working people.

Beyond what happens in November, we need to mobilize together.
