Neighbors for Matt Mahan for Mayor 2024

The Fight For Change Is Just Getting Started!

Join us as we unite for a safer and cleaner San José.

Mayor Matt Mahan is leading the fight for a wake up call at City Hall – working to focus San José city government on what matters most.

Contribution rules

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  2. I am at least eighteen years old.
  3. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  4. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit or debit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person

Our city used to be safe and clean, without widespread street homelessness. Matt Mahan knows we can bring this beautiful city back by staying focused on the basics.

That’s why Matt fought for his “Back to Basics” budget that will hire more police officers, invest in cleaning up our city and prioritize building safe, individual shelter units at a dramatically lower cost than status-quo approaches – and once those units are available, require that people move off the streets and into these dignified alternatives.

Because of a change in the City Charter passed in 2020, Matt must now face re-election after less than a year in office – and he needs our help to keep up, and win, the fight for change!

Join us today by making the most generous contribution you can afford up to the maximum of $1,500 per person! (Spouses, partners and friends can also give up to the maximum – so please help advance the fight for change by encouraging your entire family, partners and friends to join us too!)

Matt’s campaign will put your contribution to work in the fight for a city that works for all of us. Please make sure to make your contribution today – and spread the word, the fight for change is just beginning. Together – we will win the fight for common sense at City Hall.

Contributions are limited to $1,500 per source. All contributions you control are subject to this cumulative $1,500 limit. For example, if you own a business, you may not contribute $1,500 personally and then use your business to contribute an additional $1,500.

Contributions may only be made using your own funds unless you tell the Committee of the true source of the funds. Contributions may not be reimbursed by any other sources unless you tell the Committee of the source of the reimbursement.

Contributions may only be made by U.S. citizens or lawfully admitted permanent residents (i.e., a green card holder).

Spouses and domestic partners may each contribute the maximum, even if their contributions are made from a joint account, but must submit separate contributions, each signed by the contributing spouse/domestic partner.

The Committee may not deposit your contribution without your name, street address (no PO boxes), occupation and employer, and may not accept cash, cashier’s checks, or money orders.

If you have a pending land use or government contracting matter – or have had one within the earlier of January 1, 2023 or the preceding 12 months – before the San Jose City Council, this is not a solicitation to make a cumulative contribution above $250.

Contributions from cardrooms, cardroom owners, board members of cardrooms, and any person in a management position (with the power to hire and fire employees) of a cardroom are prohibited.
