  2. I am at least eighteen years old.
  3. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.

Born and raised in San José, Matthew has spent his entire life advocating for a better city. His commitment to community service includes work as a neighborhood organizer, leading campaigns to secure funding for affordable housing and improved transportation, and his current role as Mayor Matt Mahan’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Neighborhood Outreach, where he strengthens community input at City Hall.

Thank you for believing in the power of our neighborhoods. Your support and contributions make this campaign possible, and we look forward to seeing you on the trail!

Join us today by making the most generous contribution you can afford up to the maximum of $700 per person! (Spouses, partners and friends can also give up to the maximum – so please help advance the fight for change by encouraging your entire family, partners and friends to join us too!)

Contributions are not tax-deductible.

Contributions are limited to $700 per source. All contributions you control are subject to this cumulative $700 limit. For example, if you own a business, you may not contribute $700 personally and then use your business to contribute an additional $700.

Contributions may only be made using your own funds unless you tell the Committee of the true source of the funds. Contributions may not be reimbursed by any other sources unless you tell the Committee of the source of the reimbursement.

Contributions may only be made by U.S. citizens or lawfully admitted permanent residents (i.e., a green card holder).

Spouses and domestic partners may each contribute the maximum, even if their contributions are made from a joint account, but must submit separate contributions, each signed by the contributing spouse/domestic partner.

The Committee may not deposit your contribution without your name, street address (no PO boxes), occupation and employer, and may not accept cash, cashier’s checks, or money orders.

Contributions from entities and individuals (including lobbyists, lawyers, etc.) with pending land use and government contracting matters before the San Jose City Council – and those who have received a final decision on such matters within the earlier of January 1, 2023 or the preceding the 12 months – are restricted to a single, cumulative $250 contribution limit.

If you have a pending land use or government contracting matter – or have had one within the earlier of January 1, 2023 or the preceding 12 months – before the San Jose City Council, this is not a solicitation to make a cumulative contribution above $250.

Contributions from cardrooms, cardroom owners, board members of cardrooms, and any person in a management position (with the power to hire and fire employees) of a cardroom are prohibited.

Any contribution to this campaign may be transferred to this candidate's campaign for reelection or another city or noncity campaign at Matthew Quevedo's sole discretion.
